I am a daydreamer, I am a traveller, I am a wishful thinker, I am all sorts of things depending on the day. The one constant in my life, like most of us, is food. I wake up in the morning excited for breakfast, and go to sleep at night wondering what I can eat the next day.
After a three-year stint dabbling in psychology, I took my postgraduate studies on a different path and chose to venture into nutrition. Two years later I’m about to graduate from my Masters of Human Nutrition, still soaking up knowledge and still unsure of what I want to be when I ‘grow up’. All I know is that eating a balanced diet can be exciting, creative and is far from a chore. Eating whole foods and nourishing your body with plants and sunlight and exercise and all that sweet stuff feels good! It is how we are meant to live – not eating something out of a packet without any idea of where it came from.
I am on a mission to show people that healthy food is not boring or time consuming and that you can be indulgent whilst still looking after yourself. I want people to understand how important but also how easy it is to eat simple, whole foods. I like to keep things relaxed, and my quirky sense of self seeks out the different and unusual, so I hope to remain both enlightening and entertaining to you!
